Lakers 2008-2009 Schedule Released

The Lakers 2008-2009 season schedule has been released. The headlines? Well there are many. Christmas day against the Boston Celtics. Four match ups against Shaq and the Suns. It’s going to be a great season.

This great year won’t be easy though. Lots of back to backs, lots of long road trips.

The Lakers will play 19 back to back match ups, 10 of those coming with both games being on the road.

Long Grammy’s trip no more. Last year’s 9 game 14 day trip was horrendous, this year the road trip is only 6 games in 10 days, not too bad. The long road trip comes at the end of the season with 7 games, mainly against Eastern Conference teams, while the World Figure Skating Championships take over Staples Center.
