What is going on with the NBA? The players have gone mad.

Paul Pierce is the latest victim to the media hype of a championship winning team.

After going heads up with Kobe Bryant in the NBA Finals just over a month ago, he has come up with the conclusion that he is the best player in the world.

HAS HE LOST HIS MIND?

Not because I’m a Lakers fan, or because I hate guys that self proclaim themselves anything and talk too much, but simply because it’s obvious, PAUL PIERCE IS INSANE.

“I am a confident player, and a lot of people might look at it like ‘Oh, another cocky attitude,’ but I don’t look at it that way,” said Pierce.

“I have an opinion, I have a right to have one, and that’s the way I feel. I felt I’ve played against the best over the years and felt right now that I’m the best player in the world.”

Meanwhile, Paul Pierce is getting handcuffed in Vegas for not cooperating with the authorities and throwing up gang signs during games. Is he above the law now? I guess some people just don’t know how to win graciously, but then again, it’s a new thing for him, let him enjoy.
