Being from Philly, I would like to have seen Kobe win, but I thought the Lakers showed a lot of class that evening. The epitome of good sportsmanship. Boston on the other hand…I had to turn the game off.

I wasn’t rooting for the Lakers, nor do I like the Lakers. But I was impressed that, even during the meltdown that had to be upsetting them, they showed sportsmanship. Helping guys up when they didn’t have to. No outbursts. And I’m going to go right back to hating the Lakers in 5 minutes, but if you’re going to go down by 39 points, that’s the way to do it….

Anyway, the Celtics were old and deserved it. I’m a Hornets blogger, and I see Hornets/Lakers shaping up to be big in the next few years. I don’t think the franchise has anything to feel bad about.

The Celtics truly dismantled the Lakers. Kobe Bryant who was compared by many to Michael Jordan, no longer will have to worry about those comparisons to the great one because he is not even in the same stratosphere as him.
