    • First thing first, the first road game has been won in the conference finals round. The Detroit Pistons took out the Boston Celtics in Game 2 in Boston. The Celtics seemed to be playing a solid game, but their defense wasn’t quite there. The Celtics allowed the Pistons to score 103 points in the Garden, which is a real problem for the men in green and white. The Celtics were the best defensive team in the league, up until last night. The series is now tied 1-1 and heading back to Detroit.
    • Trade rumors continue to circulate throughout the league including guys like Carmelo Anthony and Richard Jefferson. The Dallas Mavericks have reportedly made Josh Howard available. The New York Knicks are interested in trading away their first round pick just to get rid of salary in a package? The Miami Heat are considering trading their 2nd overall draft pick? Who will the Chicago Bulls take with the #1 pick? Is Kirk Hinrich a goner?
    • Charles Barkley has announced that the current Lakers are the best team that Kobe Bryant has ever played on. Chris Webber argued that the three-peat Lakers with Kobe and Shaq were far superior. I see the point Sir Charles was trying to make though. Kobe Bryant and Pau Gasol together are unbeatable. Lamar Odom has really stepped up and embraced his role as the third option on this team and the role players along with the bench have done their job beyond what anyone expected.
    • TNT has created an amazing new platform during NBA games. I first saw it during the game between the Los Angeles Lakers and San Antonio Spurs Wednesday night. It’s a view of four shots around the stadium, constantly rotating and changing, each focusing on one specific thing at a time, such as either Kobe Bryant, Tony Parker, the Lakers basket, or the Spurs bench. I saw a nice breakdown of this as YellowBook sponsored it by a great basketball blog that seems to be on top of his game.
