Once again, the Chicago Bulls have got a #1 overall pick in the NBA Draft. The last #1 pick by the Chicago Bulls was in 1999 when they selected Elton Brand out of Duke University. We all know how that worked out for them, Elton Brand is now the amazing face of the Los Angeles Clippers franchise.

The Chicago Bulls most successful pick yet was the #2 pick of Michael Jordon. I’m not going to bother going into detail of how that worked out.

Anyway, here’s how the final draft order for the lottery teams ended:

    1. Chicago Bulls
    2. Miami Heat
    3. Minnesota Timberwolves
    4. Seattle Supersonics
    5. Memphis Grizzlies
    6. New York Knicks
    7. Los Angeles Clippers
    8. Milwuakee Bucks
    9. Charlotte Bobcats
    10. New Jersey Nets
    11. Indiana Pacers
    12. Sacramento Kings
    13. Portland Trailblazers
    14. Golden State Warriors

Of course, let’s not forget, the Lakers don’t have a first round pick, but I think we can all agree that Andrew Bynum coming back next year to team up with Pau Gasol is better than anything we would get at the #28 spot. We’ll stick to I believe #52.
