Kobe Lebron Battle ContinuesBy Daniel Sagal on March 6th, 2008 | 5 Comments
Kobe Bryant scored 52 points last weekend against the Dallas Mavericks and led his team to victory. Lebron James scored 50 points last night against the New York Knicks and led his team to victory. Whats the difference? Well, just remember, you asked, not me… Lets start off with giving Lebron his props. He scored 50 points in only 44 minutes! Congrats Lebron. It took Kobe 51 minutes to get h... -

They all want your money, they all want your bets… why?? BECUZ U NEVER WIN!! Well, except for this one time that your friend won 3 million dollars by taking a 12 team parlay on a random Sunday afternoon! As I sat around yesterday in the afternoon preparing for the full night of basketball games, my friends decided that they would place some bets to make the night more interesting. Kobe Bryant Defeats Dallas Mavericks, AgainBy Daniel Sagal on March 3rd, 2008 | 1 Comment
In 2005, Kobe scored his 2nd highest point total when he beat the Dallas Mavericks by the 3rd quarter 62-61. Obviously his teammates scored a few points here and there allowing Kobe to rest the entire 4th quarter. Had he not sat down, who knows how many points he would’ve scored, maybe 82? Enough flashbacks, it’s now 2008 and Kobe just beat the Dallas Mavericks again. Deja Vu it is! As... -
Portland Trailblazers End Los Angeles Lakers Win StreakBy Daniel Sagal on March 1st, 2008 | 2 Comments
After four years of not being able to win a single game at the Rose Garden in Portland, Oregon, the Lakers, and especially the Lakers fans believed it was finally the time to make a change. The change, well, even though it didn’t quite occur as planned was suppose to be a Lakers win. The Los Angeles Lakers were on a 10-game win streak coming into Friday’s game, the second of a back to ... -
Updates on Lakers CompetitionBy Daniel Sagal on February 27th, 2008 | No Comments
UPDATE: Sam Cassell has been released by the Los Angeles Clippers, reported by ESPN. Obviously, Garnett’s Celtics are the favorites to land him however I’m sure there are also the prospects of Phoenix and Dallas. I have to believe that we will know exactly where he ends up quite soon… Houston Rockets: Yao Ming has been shut down for the season. With a stress fracture in his foot ... -
Kobe Bryant For Most Valuable Player (MVP)By Daniel Sagal on February 25th, 2008 | 1 Comment
The stats are obvious and widely available, but the opportunity to watch Lakers games on TV is quite rare for those that don’t live in the Los Angeles area. During every game, at some point, the crowd will chant “M-V-P… M-V-P”. It really doesn’t matter what city the Lakers play in, Kobe is loved and hated equally. Even in Phoenix the other night for Shaq’s debut... -
NBA Trade Deadline Comes With a BangBy Daniel Sagal on February 21st, 2008 | 2 Comments
I awoke this morning to see that the Houston Rockets, New Orleans Hornets, and Memphis Grizzlies were all involved in a three team trade that moved some minor pieces around. The biggest names were Bonzi Wells and Mike James who were sent to New Orleans as well as Bobby Jackson who was sent to Houston. Memphis was only involved with small future players traded here and there. As I read Chad Ford... -
Kurt Thomas to San Antonio SpursBy Daniel Sagal on February 20th, 2008 | 1 Comment
The San Antonio Spurs have agreed in principle to a trade with the Seattle Supersonics for forward/center Kurt Thomas. At the surface, it appears that the move is not that big and will not impact the San Antonio Spurs all that much. The truth however, is that this trade may be better than the Kidd and Shaq deals. The Shaq deal was pushed through by the Phoenix Suns because they felt the need for a... -
Los Angeles Lakers & NBA TradesBy Daniel Sagal on February 20th, 2008 | 1 Comment
The Los Angeles Lakers played the revamped Atlanta Hawks last night and showed what they are truly capable of. The dominance was like no other game I’ve seen this season. At one point in the second quarter the score was 68-28. SERIOUSLY, 68-28!! The game was a complete destruction of the same team that last beat the Lakers less than two weeks ago. In Atlanta, the first game after Kobe’...
