No Win, No Problem

The Lakers are looking tired after losing their second in a row to the Jazz on Tuesday night. In the two losses, they have a combined 39 turnovers, and that’s definitely not championship basketball. They put themselves in a close game against a young Jazz team who didn’t make the playoffs this year and couldn’t pull through.
Kobe wasn’t aggressive enough in the first half only scoring four points and going 0/1 from the field. He only had two assists and one rebound to go along with his passive offense. Kobe needs to set the tone early and create for others merely by being agressive and showing that he will be a willing shooter. Only then will the defense have to keep a constant eye on Kobe which will open the game up for the other Lakers.
No need to stress about losing two in a row since Dallas is still two games back, but the Spurs beat the hawks to put them 3 games ahead of L.A The Spurs have Sacramento and Utah coming up before coming to Staples, so it looks like its safe to say they will hold the the top spot, also meaning they will most likely get the Thunder in the second round of the playoffs.
However, it is important for the Lakers not to fall into a funk this late into the season especially with the Thunder and Spurs to look forward to.
The Lakers did look tired and weak against the Utah Jazz and with the Warriors coming up, this might become a problem. It’ll be important for them to use their size and use most of the shot clock on offense and defense if they want to win the game without exhausting themselves. I’m pretty sure their not going to let themselves lose three in a row against the Warriors.
Lets hold on hope and not choke on the noose around the Lakers neck.
