I have never read a story so well put together, so charmingly written, so sensitively edited, and so TRUE.

Bill Simmons has long been my favorite writer as he manages to find a comedic approach to present his case in regards to various sporting events throughout the world. I read them all and always enjoy.

This article however, is on an entirely different level of writing. This article exposes the evil truth of celebrity, however manages to show off the character of one of the most humble athletes ever.

As a Lakers fan, you must look at this as another level by which to argue Kobe vs Lebron. He’s a selfish prick and is strictly concerned with his deep pockets and his face time. When was the last time we hear a report about Lebron’s focus on the offseason? Any reports on what parts of his game he’s going to develop? Have we heard about his workouts?

I do however remember all the reports of Kobe going to Hakeem for some advice. I remember hearing about Kobe gaining twenty pounds of muscle so he can body up on larger players. I also remember hearing about Kobe trimming 15-20 pounds the following offseason so he can improve his quickness and agility. Is Lebron working on his free throw shooting yet?
