Lakers Lead 1-0: Buck Foston
-
The BUCK FOSTON campaign continues!
With the Lakers beating the Celtics in Game 1 by 13 points and leading by as many as 20 in the 3rd quarter, the boys in Purple and Gold are ready for Game 2.
There are many things to look forward to in this game, but one of those may be the much anticipated technical foul against Kendrick Perkins that will sideline him for Game 3. Also, keep an eye out on Rasheed Wallace’s technical fouls as he now has five and is two away from his one game suspension. Perhaps we should throw Sasha in the game early to get under the players’ skin.
Regardless of the fouls, I’m looking forward to seeing what Pau Gasol, Andrew Bynum, Ron Artest, and Derek Fisher bring to the offensive end of this game. They are all a big piece to the puzzle and the team relies on their contribution to pull out a close win. The bench will also be very important as they must take advantage of the Celtics bench while they hold the home court advantage.
I look forward to seeing plenty of dirty and rough play in the paint. Kevin Garnett will likely be angry from Gasol’s misconstrued commentary and Paul Pierce will probably have some extra energy to take out on Artest after his solid defense in game one.
Only four hours from tip off and I’m already drooling. This is going to be a great adventure!
Oh, and again, don’t forget, get your BUCK FOSTON shirt.
