The dream match up is in place.
On Thursday, June 3, 2010, the Boston Celtics will be visiting the Los Angeles Lakers for a rematch of the 2008 NBA Finals. Last time around, the finals round of seven ended with the Big 3 lifting their first Championship Trophy. The Celts had home court advantage and were two years younger.
This time around, the Lakers have the advantages. We’ve got the home court, we’ve got the youth, we’ve got the aggressive defense, we’ve got Ron Artest, and finally, we’ve got an energized and angry Kobe Bryant.
The point of all this is simple: this is our time to shine, our time to enjoy victory, and our time to celebrate a back to back championship season.
In order to help support our one and only Los Angeles Lakers, we’ve got to show them we care. I’ve been proudly representing the city of LA for quite some time now. More importantly though, it’s our duty to show the Boston Celtics how much we truly hate them.
