Welcome Back: 2010
-
We’ve all heard the world famous song by Mase titled “Welcome Back.”
Well, I’m not a music artist, have no musical talent, and am 100% incapable of writing, singing, or producing a multi-million dollar track, but I can get back on my own track and start writing about our beloved Los Angeles Lakers again.
After starting LABallTalk.com just over two years ago, there have been many changes in life, mostly positive. Recently becoming a college graduate and learning the balance between a career, public life, and personal development, little time has been left over for my true passion, the National Basketball Association.
HOWEVER…
2010 is a new a year, with a new attitude, new inspiration, new emotion, and a new found energy!!
LA BALL TALK is BACK. BIGGER THEN BEFORE!!
I’ve got plenty of thoughts and plenty of analysis to share. All in due time of course. We will bring back the favorites such as the season’s top ten players at each position, the game breakdowns, the basic team analysis, random Lakers news, fun links, fun fact, and all the breaking news from around the league. Oh, and of course, we will continue to follow the rumors that no one really cares about, but only because they are fun!
With all that said, this year could not have started in a more exciting manner.
First day of month, first day of the year, first day of the decade, first game of the year for the Lakers, and Kobe Bryant has already set the tone.
If there was any debate about who you want taking the shot at the end of the game last decade, then the debate should be quite obvious this decade. KOBE is one for one. Anyone got a better game winning percentage than that? Not to mention he warmed up for this one with two other game winning shots in just the last month.
I’m quite excited to be back on the world wide internets writing about my favorite players, favorite team, and favorite league.
A toast… to a successful 2010 with plenty of joy and happiness to all (even Clippers fans).

Great to hear that “LA BALL TALK is BACK. BIGGER THEN BEFORE!!” But shouldn’t you be updating the photo at the top of the page? Ronny Turiaf has been gone two (2!!) years, and VladRad & Crittenton left in February 2008. Hell, they’re both on different teams than the one they were traded to. Come on, get with the program!

Kobe rules and seems to live forever. Please trade him to my Pistons now.
