Sasha Vujacic is back on the floor. He will not be participating in tonight’s game agains the Bobcats in San Diego but he will be with the team. He took part in yesterdays practice and was competitive throughout. Phil Jackson said he noticed Sasha limping a few times but didn’t think it was anything serious. Sasha has expressed that he has no sharp pains in his ankle.

This is a must read. Jermaine O’Neal is giving advice to Andrew Bynum on how to properly handle his career as they both took the leap from high school directly to the pros. His main advice for the young Bynum? “It’s just important for him to be patient,” O’Neal told a reporter.

Vladimir Radmanovic has injured his middle finger on his left hand. Luckily, the left hand is his non shooting hand however it is affecting his play. He is listed as day to day.

Jordan Farmar and Lamar Odom have “special roles” on this team, according to Phil Jackson. From what I’m hearing, Farmar has been extremely impressive so far this preseason. He had a big breakout season last year and has made many strides this summer as well. Phil is really impressed by his commitment and is reportedly considering moving him to the starting lineup. Derek Fisher is solid, but would Farmar bond better with this unit? The point guard position is slowly becoming a story line of it’s own as Fisher is being battled by Farmar for playing time and Odom is looking to split minutes with the both of them.
