I'm glad to see the Lakers waited until after the tough road trip to sign Newble when he can finally get some game time against the "lesser" teams. I probably would’ve gone with Gerald Green as well, but:

1) Newble is a better defender
2) It’s only a 10 day contract which means that the Lakers may be considering Gerald Green and are only auditioning Newble to see if he really makes a difference.

I’m glad to see the Lakers waited until after the tough road trip to sign Newble when he can finally get some game time against the “lesser” teams.
