A Christmas to Remember

Will the Lakers finally give everyone the gift they’ve been waiting for every christmas since the Shaq trade? Losing three years in a row to Miami isn’t easy, especially because we all know how much Miami now sucks, but I am looking forward to getting into the heads of the Phoenix Suns. We enjoyed a great road victory in Phoenix the second game of the season, and left a little bit of a lasting thought in their minds of how badly they were abused.

Mike D’antoni decided to take it personally that Phil Jackson took a mandatory time out right when Phoenix walked out onto the court at the end of their timeout. As a Laker fan, I love to see that Jackson continues to mess around with the other coaches, even when the team is already performing well enough to anger their opponents. Phil Jackson and Kobe Bryant together just stick that dagger in whatever team seems to play them.

Today’s game is an exciting matchup and I’m looking forward to getting out to Staples Center today. It will be a great experience watching the Lakers match up against this high quality team. A win will put the Lakers only one game behind Phoenix and will truly make a huge difference in the way the Pacific Division and the Western Conference looks.

Good luck to the Lakers and as always, wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and safe holiday season.
